Is that Kim Jong-Il rocking the middle part?!
I was researching Drew Gooden’s soul patch (yes I’m a dork) when I stumbled across this comment on the Inside Hoops message board:
“He’s gonna sell his patch to Sheed for $2 million”

What’s up with Drew Gooden’s hair? It’s very futuristic. I bet he uses American Crew like me. I think he should rock the middle part along the tuft of hair at the back of his head.
Richard Jefferson on the other hand, doesn’t need any hair product. The first time he went to the free throw line I did a double take because it looked like he’d shaved his eyebrows. I got really excited for a second. Alas, his eyebrows are still there but they are sort of thin. Speaking of thin Richard Jefferson looks like he’s lost 20 pounds over the course of the season.
My friend Sam gave me some hair pomade. I was really grateful for this gift because I am trying to be more fastidious about my appearance. I have strong slob tendencies which I think shows a lack of self respect. So anyway, I’ve been using this American Crew hair pomade and I’m really pleased with the results. Here’s me with the “mussed” look:
I like the mussed look very much. It’s sort of insolent, but still falls within the parameters of business casual. But when I want to lock it down for a big meeting with senior management, I like to part my hair on the side. Here’s me with my hair parted on the right:
If I need an extra jolt of confidence and my power tie and dockers aren’t providing me with enough juice sometimes I go way outside of the box with a left part:
On the weekends when I’m chilling with my lady, I like to keep things light and casual. I find that a middle part is good for lounging about the house. I call this the “Lazy Sunday ‘Do”:
I’m feeling pretty stoked about my personal grooming. Before I started using pomade my hair was an unmanageable mess, but now I’m getting the extra attention that comes when you look your best. It really feels good to attract so many stares when I’m out and about. Thanks Sam!
