What’s fun got to do with it?

The little kid pointing an accusing finger at me is my nephew. I took my niece and nephews to a children’s park and promised them that Harry Potter would swoop out of the sky and give them each a pound of ice cream. After standing in the sweltering sun smelling elephant turds for an hour this little tyke ran to mommy to accuse me of false advertising. Little kids will believe anything! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!

The kids park has a “Barefoot Garden”. Basically you walk around on these pointy rocks in order to stimulate your circulation. It’s excruciating. I don’t think the design means anything but each color is a different size of rock. The big rocks are the most painful.

Animal exhibits are scattered throughout the park. There are a lot of monkeys in an enclosure next to this tiger. I stood around for a while hoping that a monkey would get into the tiger pit but nothing that I want ever happens.  Nature is so stupid.

Weird statue. Somehow this little kid’s weenie fell off.

(Poof, after a long Hiatsu I’m back) Dear TK, I don’t know you well, except through Kari Carlson’s friend is your wife and all.

As far as your nephew, Raising a kid’s hope and not meeting them is not a good thing. I am aware of being an Asian that is the most common prank played by adults, but depending on the kid, it leaves different intensity of emotional marks(scars, etc) on the kids. Working with kids, in children’s classes and talking to them reveals so many things we adults do is so unconscious and affecting their behaviour.

Also remember, anyone from America is a saviour from God, or atleast that is what I thought when I was back in India. hehe.

Oh! Oh! I used to have strong, tough skin on my feet and heels while I was India, and walked through temples barefeet. Using alot of shoes, makes us really vulnerable, and glad you enjoyed(endured)your journey in the zoo. Man, I miss those visits with family. I have never seen so much beauty in Rural Korea. Thank you for sharing this.
